Chef Dana~licious of Dana's Family Kitchen has been involved in the culinary arts since the mid 80's. Ten years ago she won first place at the KCRA News and Mercy Hospital's Rachel Ray's Build A Better Lunch For Kids contest. Three months later in the National Pork Board's Top Hog BBQ contest with Guy Fieri as the celebrity judge and on a USA 6 month tour seeking contestants she took 3rd place at NYC's Food and Wine Festival. Dana was a regular guest chef on FOX40 News in Sacramento for 6-1/2 years. She's recently done a few cooking segments on Good Day Sacramento. For seven years she was the chef editor for the Modesto View Magazine. Currently Dana does private catering, in-home and in the Direct Appliance showroom cooking classes. Corporate team building culinary events are another one of her specialties. She does demo work for JennAir and is master certified with KithchenAid pro line kitchen appliances. Where there are great venues for food, wine and spirits you can often find her working there!

Celebrating 10 years since opening in 2009, America Waffles will be cooking up Asparagus Waffles and other Asparagus dishes. They will also have a food vendor booth setup to try their delicious Asparagus Waffles, super tasty as I have tried them myself!
